FOR THE WORLD

Indifference or love, and death or life,

and fearfulness or bravery, now, choose!

Which will it be for husband, kids, or wife?

For friends and neighbors, strangers – bliss or blues?

I've gotta show somebody that I care,

'cause that's the way humanity survives!

If I have got a surplus, I must share,

for goodness changes hearts and changes lives.

Please, heaven, help me realize this dream,

this dream of helping Christ to save us all!

It's only love can all of us redeem –

for that salvation, here and now, I call!

Please bless my sense of humor, Holy One – for what is life without some wholesome fun? Too serious I can't afford to be, so make me able, Lord, to laugh – at me! ~ Oh, sometimes I do something silly, Lord, so help me, please, to laugh at those mistakes. Let heaven be the place I'm headed toward; I hope there's laughter there, for goodness' sakes!

Since evangelicals feared ego loss, they turned to Donald Trump… and made him Boss. And they believe that he'll fix everything, that racist woman-hater they made king. ~ Their savior Jesus Christ they have replaced… with someone crazy, ignorant, and mean. It's sheer illusion that those folks have chased; the truth in front of them they haven't seen. And so let's choose to meditate and pray, and love the Lord, ourselves, our neighbors, too. Dig, peace on Earth could start with us today, if we'll decide to love… and follow through.

RELIANCE

I trust You, Jesus; help me, Jesus, please! And thanks ahead of time for all you'll do! You're here with me in flowers, birds, and trees; within my heart, and near me, I've got You!
