THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE

“Some giants want us all ta buy their oil; our burning oil will make our grandkids die. Some giants make their profits off our toil, but we still let those robbers kill us – Why? Oh, every night we watch our TV sets, or play our games, and fritter life away. Now, goofing off 's as foolish as it gets, and wiser souls will get informed and Pray! It's not that hard ta know what's going on; if you would really know the truth, you'll seek. I hope you Will before your chance is gone, you Won't, if you stay Proud, instead o' Meek! [ “meek” meaning humble, gentle, accepting of the good Lord's will]

JESUS CAN CHANGE YOU

“Why ever try ta change somebody else? You've found it's hard enough ta change your Self! It's only love ta which a heart responds, and Jesus' Love can break the captive's Bonds!

Please, practice Jesus' presence every day; a little wholesome discipline can pay; get still a while, and silent, those are key – ya just might find it sets your spirit free!”

QUESTION FOR MY SELF

“If happiness and good are what ya seek, why not more often pray before ya speak? If something isn't cool, try speaking truth, and kindly, now, try Not ta be uncouth!”

LOVE CAN SAVE US

“Now, why should you attack an enemy? Why add to any animosity? 'Cause hatred doesn't cease by vibing hate, it might be better, friend, ta pray and wait! And Why not show your foe some loving care? Your love could win 'em over, if you'll dare! Forgiving, loving, those are truly brave, and don't forget, it's only love can save!”

LOVE IS A FREE-WILL ACT

“I fooled around, I who didn’t give a shit. There’s far too many folks who be that way. I gotta keep my lamp o’ loving lit, so, Help me, Heaven, Help me think ta pray – and not just pray, but act ta follow through, ‘cause Love is something you’re supposed ta Do!”

PRAY FOR ME

“Please, don’t be mean ta me, don’t criticize, but lend an ear, and pray for me instead! You’ll have a better chance of being wise, if You’ve first heard what Christ and I have said.”

PREPARE YE THE WAY OF THE LORD!

“Dig, where an idol’s worshiped, madness rules; please, don’t ya choose a savior-substitute! When, desperate souls become an idol’s fools, that idol still ain’t gonna give a hoot! An idol cannot care, it’s got no heart; a human can approximate that state. An idol’s got no brain, it isn’t smart! Let’s love and pray, the hour’s getting late! We’ve got ta turn our Ship of State around, stop sailing off ta savage other lands! In Beauty, Love, and Truth the Christ is found, in every human heart that understands! Which shall I choose, the Lord, or something else? Will I decide ta love, or just not care? Am I ta share, or just indulge my self? If we’d have peace, the path we must prepare!”
