Hurt your self's a Cruel Kind 'o Thing; ta Hurt another's Prob'ly
Cruel, Too – but sometimes medicine might hurt or sting, then
Hurting is a Healing Thing“ ta do. Thank God fer Anesthetics,
Ev'ryone; thank God for all who help us out, each Day! Thank God for
Ev'ry Loving Thing that’s Done, for those who Help the Sickly Get
okay! Now, May the Great Physician Guide their Hands, and Bless 'em
All with Knowledge, Grace, and Skill; and Thanks for Ev'ry Heart that
Understands... in Those prescribing Any Salve or Pill! Please, May
the Healing Light now Bless us All; may Saving Grace enlighten All
our Hearts; and Always, When we Hear the Savior's Call,
wholeheartedly let's Do our Kindly Parts! All Right?”
