BLESSED CALLING

Blessed Calling

She once had a hurt that could not be healed.

She searched everywhere, 'n went far afield,

lookin' for Answers, that just couldn't come,

ta lighten her darkness, and help her some.

Then came an old ally, and then Came more:

a child and cat beSide her own front Door.

Each needed rest, to be consoled and fed;

they needed their own nice Places, to bed.

So then she found some comfort there, in Care

for others having burdens She could Share.

She started singing, smiled, and laughed again!

She opened up her heart and let them In!
