“Lord, help us All these tensions now defuse, by showing Kindness, Lord, ta everyone. Instead of anger, let's all Mercy Use, forgiving freely every evil done. Oh, let's be just and peaceful, every day, and wish our neighbors well in all respects. The Golden Rule, let's everyone obey, so kindness all from cruelty protects. Let every heart begin to trust in love, tranquility now lay ta rest all fears; now may we all resentments Rise Above, and keep the faith 'til lasting peace appears!”

“Is energy the thing ya most desire? 'Cause That's the same as Holy Spirit, man. So, what's the source that's gonna best inspire? Why don't ya make a little prayer plan? Right after you awake might be the best, if you could dig ta offer thanks and ask. Now, what is gonna make you truly blessed? Ta rest, or do some beneficial task? I'm very sure the Holy Spirit knows, so why not ask, get blessed from top ta toes? And say, 'Thank You!'”

WEEDS FLOWERING IN THE MUD

I let my pride deceive me once again, so sure that I'm a saint, and they are not. Then I be lost as I have ever been, so sure I'm cool, but really runnin' hot! How truly crazy I can sometimes get, and then I need the Lord ta straighten me. Or else the men in white might bring a Net, and padded walls I'll be real sure ta See! So, Heaven, help me always Keep my cool, in Jesus' peace and love each day abide. If I persist in actin' like a fool, the monkey's greased the slope down which he'll slide! Ain't that right?”

“We've gotta have great hope! Let's hope in Christ, however Truth is known. That Love has never, ever not sufficed, so fan that spark of life! You'll find it's grown! Now, do you really doubt that Good will win? Let's Not cop out at all, not be that Dumb! Why don't we keep the faith, and try again? With Love, I know that We Shall Overcome!”

OUT TO SAVE THE WORLD II

“Dear Lord, what should I do with each request?” “Ya prob'ly oughta pray, and then decide. 'Cause I want You ta do what's truly Best! Why don't ya let my Spirit be your guide? Too many little sins will do ya in; ta pray can help prevent those dumb mistakes. If You good health and Happiness would win, make sure each day ya take some prayer breaks!”

ADDITIONAL WEBSITE

Dear Readers, fresh poems will continue to appear here, hopefully for a long time, but I have begun the process of disappearing poems off the bottom of the list here on "blogspot", and putting them on wattpad.com, where they can be found, also called Kindness Poems. All you have to do to read anything on wattpad is sign up with a username, email, and password, click a few book covers you like, and then it's just a matter of a couple of clicks each time and two keystrokes, to see my poems. The fields are filled automatically after you sign up, by Wattpad. Poems of mine previously unpublished I plan to put more of, often, on this Blogspot site. The kindnesspoems blogspot site may be deleted sometime in the future, but not now. Thank you!
